GuruFocus is proud to announce that there were two winners of the third-quarter Warren Buffett contest: Okinawa21 and Ralph.tran.

Okinawa21 guessed correctly that Buffett (or Ted Weschler, or Todd Combs) purchased Bank of America (BAC, Financial), Bank of New York Mellon (BK, Financial) and US Bancorp (USB, Financial). Ralph.tran divined that they bought Apple (AAPL, Financial), Bank of America and Delta Airlines (DAL, Financial).

Berkshire’s portfolio showed purchases of 11 stocks in the third quarter. See the portfolio and check your guesses here.

Although they can clearly already read Buffett’s mind and are on their way to making untold billions, both winners will receive a copy of GuruFocus founder Charlie Tian’s book, “Invest Like a Guru,” to help them on their investing journey.

Thank you everyone who participated. GuruFocus holds the contest every quarter, giving you plenty of chances to try again. Look out for our fourth-quarter contest in a few months.

GuruFocus is also running an ongoing Value Ideas Contest, which you can read more about here.
