Matthew Rose, chief executive officer of Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corp., talks with Bloomberg's Betty Liu about fuel prices and coal supplies in the U.S. Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway Inc. bought Burlington Northern last month for $26 billion.

Matthew actually likes the fuel price stays as high as it is. He states railroad has a competitive 3 to 4 advantage over alternative means of moving things around.

He does not see that coal fueled electricity generator be gone soon. An interesting thing he pointed out is positive correlation between the electricity cost and unemployment rate among different regions in this country.
