The company focuses on developing and commercializing synthetic fuels and produces different liquid fuels, chemicals and electricity. The company is the largest corporate taxpayer in South Africa and one of the country’s largest state-owned enterprises.

On July 25 Tata Motors Ltd. reported first quarter 2020 financial results. Wholesales for the quarter decreased 22.7% from the same quarter prior year to 136,705 units. Revenue for the quarter also decreased by 19.9% to Rs.13,352 Cr. Loss for the quarter after-tax was Rs. 97 Cr.
