China Eastern Airlines Corp Ltd is an air carrier operating in China. The Company and its subsidiaries are engaged in the operation of civil aviation, including the provision of domestic, regional and international passenger airline services.

Established in 1988, China Eastern Airlines is China's third- largest airline in terms of passenger volume. China Eastern operates as one of the Big Three with China Southern and Air China; collectively, they control over 75% of China's airline market. As a member of SkyTeam, China Eastern has an extensive flight network including 1,064 cities in 178 countries. The company is accelerating the pace of its international expansion, with its relative passenger revenue contribution expected to increase from 29% in 2016 to about 35% in 2020.
