Manitex International Inc, through its subsidiaries, is engaged in the design, manufacture and distribution of engineered lifting solutions. Its products include boom trucks, truck cranes and sign cranes.

Manitex International Inc was incorporated in Michigan in 1993. The Company is a provider of engineered lifting solutions. It operates in two business segments the Lifting Equipment segment and the Equipment Distribution segment. The Company designs, manufactures and distributes a group of products that serve different functions and are used in a variety of industries. Through its Manitex subsidiary it markets a line of boom trucks and sign cranes. Manitexs boom trucks and crane products are mainly used for industrial projects, energy exploration and infrastructure development, including, roads, bridges and commercial construction. Its subsidiary, Badger Equipment Company is a manufacturer of specialized rough terrain cranes and material handling products, including a newly introduced 30-ton model, The Badger product line includes lattice cranes with 20 to 30 ton lifting capacity marketed under the Little Giant trade name, and specialized 15 and 30 ton rough terrain cranes sold under the Badger name. Badger mainly serves the needs of the construction, municipality, and railroad industries. Manitex Load King, Inc. is manufacturer of specialized custom trailers and hauling systems, typically used for transporting heavy equipment. Load King trailers serves niche markets in the commercial construction, railroad, military, and equipment rental industries through a dealer network. Equipment Distribution segment also supplies repair parts for a variety of medium to heavy duty construction equipment sold both domestically and internationally. Its crane products are used mainly for infrastructure development and commercial constructions, applications include road and bridge construction, general contracting, roofing, scrap handling and sign construction and maintenance. The Company offers its sign cranes through a network of dealers who sell to family run and smaller sized businesses. Trademarks include: Manitex and Lifyking. The Company competes with Linamar, Sellick, Harlo, Manitou, Mastercraft, and Load Lifter in selling rough terrain forklifts. The Companys container handling equipment competes with similar equipment sold by Cargotec, Konecranes and Terex. The North American specialty trailer industry is fragmented, but its competitors include: Aspen Custom Trailers, Landoll Corporation, Manaca, Inc., and Trail King. The Company is subject to various governmental regulations, such as environmental regulations, employment and health regulations, and safety regulations.

(NASDAQ:MNTX), a leading international provider of cranes and compact track loaders, today announced that it has received a new order for 24 Manitex cranes, for delivery in 2017 and beyond, to a long standing Manitex dealer, Coastline Equipment,  both for the expansion of its rental fleet and for retail sales.
Manitex is excited to have the opportunity to continue to provide Coastline Equipment, a premier Manitex dealer for over 20 years, with outstanding equipment, parts and service. The order consists of a broad mix of Manitex CM Series and TC Series line of straight-mast boom trucks and truck-mounted cranes, ranging in lifting capacity from 19 to 40 tons.  “Coastline's featured machine at ConExpo is the new TM2085 tractor-mount crane, targeting the residential and commercial construction material delivery markets,” commented Randy Robertson, Director of Sales and Marketing for Manitex “Coastline Equipment is pleased with the ongoing support that Manitex offers them as a pre-eminent manufacturer of boom trucks,” said Neil Goodale, division manager of Coastline Equipment’s crane division.
