Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust is a self-managed and self-administered REIT in the United States. It is engaged in the ownership, management, leasing, acquisition, redevelopment, development and disposition of retail shopping malls.

Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust is founded in 1960. Pennsylvania REIT is one of the oldest real estate investment trusts in the United States. At the end of 2009, the firm's portfolio consisted of 34.6 million square feet in 38 enclosed malls, 13 strip and power centers, and three development projects, mainly in Pennsylvania and the Mid-Atlantic region.
