Premier Financial Bancorp Inc is a multi-bank holding company. It focuses on providing quality community banking services to individuals and small-to-medium sized businesses.

Through its seven separately branded community bank subsidiaries, Premier serves individuals and small and medium-size businesses in nonurban areas of the Appalachian region. Collectively, it has 25 branches, most of them in West Virginia and Kentucky, with a few in Ohio. It has $730 million in assets and about three fourths of its loan book is real estate related. Forty percent of its loans are residential real estate mortgages, followed by commercial real estate loans.
