Tim Participacoes SA is a part of the telecom industry. It operates as a mobile, fixed, long-distance and data transmission operator.

TIM Brasil is one of the top three wireless carriers by subscribers in Brazil, with close to 60 million subscribers. It leads the prepaid market with over 40 million customers. The company is 67% owned by Telecom Italia.
