Omega Advisors CEO Leon Cooperman (Trades, Portfolio) reported Friday purchasing 15 stocks during the fourth quarter.

The hedge fund manager’s largest picks were: Humana Inc. (HUM, Financial), Wells Fargo & Co. (WFC, Financial), CBS Corp. (CBS, Financial), SPDR Gold Trust (GLD, Financial) and SPDR S&P Regional Banking (KRE, Financial). At quarter-end, the portfolio held 72 stocks, with 22% vested in technology and 17.3% in consumer cyclical stocks as the largest sectors represented.

Founded in 1991, Omega Advisors employs fundamental, bottom-up research. The firm has approximately $3.7 billion in assets under management, with the long portfolio valued around $2.67 billion.

In May 2017, Omega Advisors reached a $4.9 million settlement with the SEC for insider trading. The firm’s Omega Overseas fund returned 18% in 2017, lagging the 22% gain in the S&P 500, Bloomberg reported.
