So I think we should -- we can begin. Good morning, and welcome to the presentation of our 2020 first half results. Mike Morgan, our Group Finance Director, will be taking you through our financial performance, and I'll then provide an update on the group and our strategy and outlook. Also with us today are Adrian Sainsbury, the Managing Director of our Lending businesses; Martin Andrew, the Chief Executive of Asset Management; and Phillip Yarrow, the Chief Executive of Winterflood.

And as usual, we'll be happy to take your questions after the formal presentation. As I mentioned, we do have people phoning in, we do have people on web, and so we'll be taking questions from them as well.

The group maintained strong returns and profitability in the first half, during a period of low activity in the U.K. economy, while staying true to our disciplined approach and commitment to investing through the cycle.
