Full Year 2020 Antofagasta PLC Pre-Recorded Earnings Presentation Transcript
Hello, and greetings from Chile. I am Mauricio Ortiz, Chief Financial Officer of Antofagasta. Iván and I will normally make this presentation together. But this year, I will be making the presentation as Iván is currently recovering from a short illness, but we expect him back in the office in the next week or so.
Despite the challenges in 2020, we had a good year operationally. We achieved our production targets and exceeded our cost targets. And more importantly, we have had our best safety year ever while also being focused on health and wellbeing of our employees and contractors. In addition, we have taken decisive steps to make our company even more sustainable and to mitigate and adapt to climate change. We have continued progressing our growth projects.
