I hereby open the Annual Shareholders Meeting of Continental AG, and I welcome you all, our shareholders and shareholder representatives, media representatives. And I'd also like to welcome any other interested viewers most cordially. I appreciate you joining our shareholders meeting and your interest in our company.

This is the third year in which we are holding a virtual shareholders' meeting. The legal basis for this is the COVID-19 Act. It is valid until the end of August 2022. And this is why the Executive Board decided to hold this year's Annual Shareholders' Meeting without the physical presence of shareholders or their representatives, and the Supervisory Board approved this. Mind you, we didn't take this decision lightly, but still, we believe it's right and necessary because, otherwise, it would not have been possible to hold an in-person shareholders' meeting without compromising the orderly conduct of the meeting and the safety of
