Half Year 2025 Easyjet PLC Earnings Presentation (Pre-Recorded) Transcript
Hello, and welcome to easyJet's half-year results presentation for the period ending March 31, 2025. In H1, we delivered a slight improvement in winter losses once adjusted for the timing of Easter.
We had a strong start to the year, delivering a GBP65 million improvement year on year in the first quarter, demonstrating the progress we are making on reducing our losses with the ultimate goal of profitability in this quarter. During the March quarter, which is challenging for all airlines, we took actions to structurally improve crew productivity and aircraft utilization, delivered by the important capacity investment we've made. This resulted in ASK's increasing by 14% in the quarter, with the revenue benefits from this investment
