Q1 2021 Unipol Gruppo SpA and UnipolSai Assicurazioni SpA Earnings Pre-Recorded Presentation Transcript
Good morning, everyone. My name is Gianluca Santi, and I'm the General Manager of Business Development and Corporate Communication of Unipol Group. As in every quarter, I'm going to take you through our financial results.
Business in this first 3 months of the year was again characterized by the pandemic and by a further lockdown period. I would like to tell you briefly that, as you may know, BPER's accounting figures in the first quarter were affected by the badwill of the bank branches acquired from Banca Intesa Sanpaolo and other nonrecurring effects. This had an extraordinary impact on Unipol data as a result of the BPER consolidation process, which, conversely, did affect UnipolSai numbers.
