I just want to go over one of the key aspects of what we're doing and what happens to neurons when they get into trouble. As you see here on the slide, when neurons in different parts of the brain for Alzheimer's sits in the pyramidal neurons in the hippocampal regions, ALS or motor neurons, for instance, when they get into trouble, and there's inflammation that is a result, the immune system comes to try and remove some of the damage. And initially, it's helpful. But ultimately, it becomes a pathologic process resulting in the neurons actually undergoing death, cell death, and the neurons eventually end up dying.
And one of the critical components, as I mentioned, is the immune system. And the important thing to realize here is that
