Half Year 2026 Jet2 PLC Analyst and Investor Meeting Transcript
Good morning, everyone, and welcome to our interim results presentation for the period ended September 30, 2025. The format this morning will be, I'll go through the first half highlights. I will then pass over to Gary Brown, our Chief Financial Officer, who will give a financial update, and then, Gary will return the microphone to me. And I'll go through a strategy update. There will then be a period after that for any questions, which we would be pleased to answer.
So first of all, record passenger numbers, revenue and profitability. Further growth in the first half across all our key metrics, we delivered record numbers. Passenger numbers were 6% higher, including encouraging first summer performance at our Bournemouth and Luton bases. Strong financial performance with group profit before FX revaluations at 1% and earnings per share 8% higher following our GBP250 million share buyback program. We are also pleased today to announce a further share buyback program of GBP100 million.
