Full Year 2019 NTT Data Corp Earnings Presentation Transcript
Good evening, everyone. I'm Honma, President of NTT DATA. Thank you very much for attending this conference today. Today, I'm going to cover the new midterm management plan, too. So I think my presentation will be around 30 minutes.
Let me first give you an overview on the result of the fiscal year ending in March 2019. The growth both in Japan and ex Japan businesses contributed to the steady increase in new orders and net sales, resulting in the growth in net sales for 30 fiscal years in a row since the establishment of our company.
Operating income also grew to JPY 24.6 billion despite some unprofitable projects, which were offset by the profit increase from sales growth as well as the company-wide cost discipline. We hit all the target items for the
