Gerdau SA is engaged in the production and commercialization of steel products in general, through its mills located in Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Spain, the United States, Guatemala, India, Mexico, Peru, among others.

Gerdau is the second- largest producer of long steel products in the world, with production capacity of more than 25 million metric tons. The company has operations in 15 countries largely serving the nonresidential construction and industrials sectors. Gerdau also has significant captive raw materials, with investments in iron ore mining, coke production, and scrap recycling.
