Hello, everyone. This is Hiko Sakaguchi, CFO of Japan Display. Thank you very much for joining us on this web call. Appreciate your time.
I'm going to speak to the quarterly earnings. And then following me, our Chairman, Scott Callon, will be speaking to the business and the strategy update. So with that, I'm going to dive right into the presentation.
We're looking now at slide 4, which shows an overview of our first-quarter earnings. As you see, sales came in at JPY53 billion. Operating profit was a JPY13.9 billion operating loss. And net income was a JPY12.2 billion net loss as well. So numbers are still very difficult, still deeply in the red.
But what I would like to highlight is that, versus our internal plan, all lines have actually outperformed.
