Good afternoon. My name is Taga, the Director and Managing Executive Officer responsible for Corporate Management Planning Office. Thank you very much for participating in the earnings presentation of the first half of FY '19.
Now I'd like to start the earnings presentation of the first half of FY '19. Please turn to Page 2. This is the performance of the first half of FY '19. Impacted by the global economic slowdown, demand declined in many businesses that affected the sales. As a result, as shown in the slide, net sales year-on-year declined by 4.6% to JPY 287.4 billion. Operating income declined by 23% to JPY 27.9 billion. Ordinary income declined by 28.6% to JPY 24.7 billion. Net income declined by 41.3% to JPY 13.3 billion. Year-on-year, both sales and profits declined.
