It sells electronics, appliances, apparel, groceries, beauty products, and household goods both through direct online retail and through a marketplace hosting third-party merchants. JD.com also operates logistics services, including warehousing and last-mile delivery, through its subsidiary JD Logistics, and provides on-demand local delivery, healthcare, and financial technology services. Its customers are primarily consumers in China, along with businesses and brand partners. Revenue comes mainly from product sales, marketplace commissions, advertising, and logistics services. The company has expanded into omnichannel grocery retail and international markets, and it invests in supply chain technology and automation to support fast delivery across China.
