Renew Energy Global PLC Annual Shareholders Meeting Transcript
Ladies and gentlemen, I am Sumant Sinha, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ReNew Energy Global PLC. It is now 3:00 PM UK time. I would like to extend a very warm welcome to all shareholders to the company's first annual general meeting, both who are present in person and those who are listening online. I would also like to welcome directors and auditors who are listening to the audit webcast.
I confirm that a quorum of [two qualifying persons] as required by the Articles of Association is present. I therefore declare the meeting as open.
Financial year 2021-2022 was an eventful year for ReNew on many fronts. Pursuant to a business combination agreement dated February 24, 2021, the company's Class A ordinary shares and warrants were listed on the NASDAQ stock market on August 24, 2021.
A few key highlights of the year are as follows: On the portfolio front, ReNew became the first renewable energy company in India to cross 7 gigawatts of renewable energy commission capacity. As of March 31, 2022, our
