Sunrun Inc provides solar service offerings and installs energy solar systems for homeowners. Product and service offerings are delivered to homeowners through direct-to-consumer, solar partnerships, and strategic partnership channels. Through the direct-to-consumer channel, the company houses an online lead generation operation, field sales teams, direct-to-home sales group, retail sales team, and an installation organization. Through the remaining channels, Sunrun contracts with both solar organizations and new market entrants to offer its solar service offerings and installation services. Solar service offerings are provided through leases and power-purchase agreements. These offerings include installation of energy systems monitoring, maintenance, and insurance.
