Key Points

Positve
  • Record Q2 performance across all key performance indicators, including net earnings and adjusted net earnings per share, despite a 10% increase in shares outstanding.
  • Significant increase in 2026 guidance, a dividend increase, and anticipated further reductions in payout ratios, reflecting strong confidence in future performance.
  • Aggregate leverage remains near historic lows at 2.82 times, with over CAD2 billion of available liquidity to pursue acquisitions and invest in existing businesses.
  • Strong demand and growth in the Environmental Access Solutions business, with all 2026 output already sold and plans to expand production capacity.
  • MACH 2 integration has exceeded expectations, with robust demand across parts, aircraft, and engines, and active collaboration with Canadian North.
Negative
  • Continued inflationary pressures on labor, aircraft parts, consumables, and overhaul costs, which could impact margins.
  • Softness in the southern Ontario condo market persists, affecting the Multi-Storey Window Solutions business, though diversification is helping.
  • Negative impact from aluminum tariffs on Multi-Storey Window Solutions and potential impact from recently announced 338 tariffs on Dry Air subsidiary.
  • Supply chain constraints for engines and MRO services, with several engines awaiting overhaul, potentially limiting growth in Aircraft Sales & Leasing.
  • Growth capital expenditures are expected to increase depreciation in the back half of 2026, which could pressure near-term earnings.
