Mesoblast Ltd Annual Shareholders Meeting Transcript
I'm the Non-Executive Chairman of Mesoblast Limited. I'm joining you today from Arizona in the United States, and it's just passed the appointed time. And as we have a quorum present, it is my pleasure to now declare the 2021 Annual General Meeting of Mesoblast Limited formally open.
And to welcome you on behalf of my fellow Directors, we're very pleased you have joined us today and welcome the opportunity to update you in person regarding the achievements of our company in the last year. With the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and associated restrictions, we're holding this meeting virtually. While this virtual format may be familiar for some shareholders, I acknowledge that it may be less so for others. However, I assure you that you will have a similar opportunity to participate today, as you will, at a physical meeting. This includes being able to ask questions through the online platform and through a dedicated phone line and both using an electronic voting card. I'll discuss these processes a little later.
