Oil States International Inc at JPMorgan Energy Conference Transcript
All right, everyone, we're going to wrap up day 1 of the oilfield services presentations, and last but certainly not least is Oil States. We have always admired the company's barbell exposure to longer-cycle offshore infrastructure and U.S. shale completion tools as well as its strong management team. In late 2017, Oil States acquired GEODynamics, a maker of perforating systems, completion tools and other consumables in a transformational deal that -- further enhancing its leverage to a U.S. land market.
We're joined today by Cindy Taylor, President and CEO. Cindy has been President of OIS since May 26, 2006, and -- is President since 2006, sorry, and CEO since May of 2007. You can see it has been a long day here, too, right Cindy? All right, take it easy. Cindy has also served as COO prior -- one of the most respected CEOs in this segment, and so very happy to have her here for the JPMorgan Energy Conference. Cindy, please take it away.
