Good afternoon, and welcome. It is my pleasure to welcome you all today to Takeda Pharmaceutical's R&D Day 2019. Along with all of us here in the room in New York, we are joined by a number of people by webcast. I'd like to thank you all for having joined us.
2019 has been a watershed year for Takeda. Today, we will share with you our plans for our near-term growth. We will share with you the confidence that we have in our long-term sustainable growth, and today, we will showcase how we are doing more for our patients worldwide.
