Arista Networks Inc at Needham Security, Networking and Communications Conference Transcript
Well, at the risk of starting out here early and having people walk in. Arista has been one of my favorite companies for the last 5 years, I was absolutely heartbroken to have to bring my rating down on it off the last print. We're currently at a hold on it. I'm hoping we'll see the fundamentals get back on track, and we can get back to a more constructive position soon and most probably talk to a lot of those dynamics.
I still strongly believe that Arista has the best technology in the category. I strongly believe that over time, they're going to continue to gain significant share versus Cisco and Juniper. I strongly believe that the company will penetrate into the campus market, continue to drive the router-based switch technology. And I think, the optics market is moving in a direction that will help them as well. So there's
A lot of positives coming down the pipe. But obviously, there's some recent news that it is a little harder to swallow.
