Hi, welcome to the Needham Growth Conference. I'd like to welcome Raghu Belur from Enphase Energy.
Good morning. I know 8:00 a.m. starts are rough, but hopefully everybody got some coffee and can get going. My name is Raghu Belur; I am the Chief Product Officer for Enphase. Enphase is an energy technology company and -- just quick background about it, the obligatory Safe Harbor slide and here we go.
We are an energy technology company. We started in 2006 as a very traditional venture backed company, two guys and a dog literally, and started in Petaluma, California. We are headquartered in Fremont. We have done about 1 million -- we just crossed the 1 million solar installation mark and -- worldwide.
What we do is a fully distributed solar inverter system. And the name for that is -- that inverter is called a microinverter. And unlike a traditional inverter where you aggregate all the panels up and feed it into a single big box inverter, we go with a
