CanSino Biologics Inc. is a Chinese biopharmaceutical company that researches, develops, manufactures, and commercializes human vaccines. Its commercial portfolio includes Menhycia and Menphecia for meningococcal disease, the pneumococcal vaccine iPneucia, and Convidecia, an inhaled adenovirus-based COVID-19 vaccine developed with the Beijing Institute of Biotechnology. The company also markets Ad5-EBOV for Ebola. Its pipeline spans preventive vaccines against tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, poliomyelitis, pneumococcal disease, tuberculosis, and shingles, along with earlier-stage candidates targeting influenza and other infectious diseases.
