Ruffer Investment Co Ltd is a closed-end investment company. Its principal objective is to achieve a positive total annual return. The company adopts a stock picking approach and invests across a broad range of assets, geographies and sectors including listed or quoted equities or equity related securities, options, and bonds which are issued by corporate issuers, supra-nationals or government organizations and investment in funds. It uses derivatives, including futures, options, swap agreements, structured products, warrants and forward currency contracts, for efficient portfolio management.
