Last week, two more London prep schools shut their doors for good.
This weekend, a headmaster of a 125-year-old independent school revealed the damage……His school has lost £2 million and is on the brink. His words?
“Labour has cost us everything.”
We’re witnessing the collapse of something once seen as untouchable: Britain’s private education sector.
It starts slowly.
A few parents pull out. A couple of schools struggle. A historic institution closes.
And then?
The tipping point.
Because when it comes to tax rises, there’s always a point where the damage caused outweighs the revenue gained. And we’re almost there.
