Time for Government to get out of the way of UK business? By Lane Clark of TPP.
Kemi Badenoch was saying all the right things this weekend.
‘The state is too big. Too slow. Doing far too much, far too slowly. It’s my job to fix this and make sure it never happens again’.
‘The solution isn’t more Government, it’s smarter Government, better Government, and a Government that gets out of the way of private enterprises’.
‘Growth comes from business, the risk-takers, from the people who devote their time, money and energy to building things. Not from politicians dreaming up how to spend your money’.
To be fair, I couldn’t have said this better myself.
I think if she keeps up this rhetoric she’ll win lots of fans…
However, do we believe her, and even if we do, have The Tory Party fell too far behind to make an impact at the next election?
Is the Tory the right party to get the UK economy back on track, and to focus on what really needs done?
