- IMPACT Silver Corp (ISVLF, Financial) reports strong drill results from its Guadalupe mine with high-grade silver intersections.
- The Kena Vein South zone now extends over a 300-meter strike length, open in all directions.
- Initial mining operations have begun, and further drilling is planned to explore the southern extension.
IMPACT Silver Corp. (ISVLF) has announced significant drill results from the Kena Vein South zone of its Guadalupe Mine in Mexico. The drilling program revealed noteworthy intersections, including 534.8 grams per tonne (g/t) of silver over 8.50 meters, with an exceptionally high-grade section of 2,320 g/t silver over 1.07 meters. These results have successfully extended the mineralization of the Kena Vein South to a 300-meter strike length, which remains open in all directions for further exploration.
The company has completed a new underground access at Level 140, and initial mining tonnes have already been extracted from the new vein. The proximity of the new findings to existing mine workings allows for rapid and cost-effective development of the site. Additional drilling is planned to test the southern extension of the vein once a new underground drill station is completed.
Fred Davidson, President and CEO, commented on the recent developments, highlighting the exceptional high-grade results and the potential for further exploration. The company's strategic approach is to continue expanding the zone for full commercial mining.
The Guadalupe mine, located in the Royal Mines of Zacualpan Silver District, is one of two major projects for IMPACT Silver, which has a history of successful exploration and production in the region. The company's ongoing efforts aim to capitalize on its high-grade findings and boost its production capabilities further.
