Yesterday, 51 companies' share price reached a new 52-week low. Of these companies, these are the ones that look interesting opportunities based on my initial research:


Hewlett-Packard (HPQ, Financial)


Hewlett-Packard Company (HP) is a global provider of products, technologies, software, solutions and services to individual consumers, small- and medium-sized businesses and large enterprises, including customers in the government, health and education sectors.


Harbinger Group (HRG, Financial)


Harbinger Group is a holding company. The Company owns approximately 98% of Zap.Com On July 9, 2009, Harbinger Capital Partners Master Fund I and Harbinger Capital Partners Special Situations Fund, L.P. purchased 9,937,962 shares of its common stock. As a result, the company is controlled by Harbinger Group. They are currently looking to make an aquisition.


United Online (UNTD, Financial)


United Online is a provider of consumer products and services over the Internet. The Company’s offerings feature brands, including FTD Group, Interflora, Classmates, NetZero and MyPoints.com.
