Todd Combs, a little-known 39-year-old fund manager from Connecticut, is the leading contender to take over as an investment officer at Berkshire Hathaway. A Berkshire Hathaway press release stated that Combs would manage "a significant portion" of Berkshire Hathaway's investment portfolio.
