Taleb’s actual comment was that he has come out of hiding specifically to support Ron Paul and his main points:
- Deficit is unsustainable.
- There will be loss of confidence in the dollar eventually.
- There are structural problems that need addressed, we look for temporary solutions.
- Four years into the current mess and government deficits are still swelling.
Taleb thinks we have no choice but to get government budgets under control. We are playing with future generations' money and courting hyperinflation.
