Mark Mobius on China, Commodities and Investing in Emerging Markets

Mark Mobius, executive chairman of Templeton Emerging Markets Group, talks about the outlook for commodities and investment strategy in emerging markets.


Here is the what he said:


On China: China GDP will be 8% this year. China needs lots of housing in the lower and middle end there is incredible demand their. Overbuilding happened in the higher end. This demand will ensure that commodities keep on going up.


On Investing in Emerging Markets: Current average P/E for emerging markets is approximately 10, making them very attractive for investment. Emerging markets also provide high dividend yields.
