PIMCO's El-Erian - Fiscal Cliff 'Mini-Bargain'

PIMCO's Mohamed El-Erian was on CNNFN to share his views on upcoming fiscal cliff. He said that reaching a deal on the fiscal cliff will be an easy part but the next step of creating tailwinds for the economy will be the difficult part.

-- Fiscal cliff will be resolved in the short term, with politicians reaching consensus somewhere in the middle which will not cause recession but will take a small percentage out of GDP.

-- Need of the hour is to optimize both debt and investments to create tailwinds for the economy to grow.
