Welcome back. Again, I'm Brad Zelnick, the software analyst here at Crédit Suisse. Some of you have heard this routine maybe a couple of times today if you've been in this room, but really delighted to have everybody here at our 23rd Annual Tech Conference in lovely Scottsdale, Arizona, and particularly delighted to be joined for this session by the Chief Financial Officer of Splunk, Mr. Jason Child.
And the format of this presentation is going to be a fireside chat. I'm going to ask Jason all sorts of great questions. He's going to come up with even better answers, and we're going to keep it interesting and hopefully learn something today.
I'm just going to start out by reading a quick background. Jason joined Splunk earlier this year. Prior to joining Splunk, he served as CFO at Opendoor, held the same position at Jawbone and Groupon earlier in his career.
