Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. I am Edward Kaye, Chief Executive Officer of Stoke Therapeutics. It is a pleasure to welcome you to our special meeting of stockholders. Thank you for joining us today.
We're excited to be hosting our special meeting virtually as this format allows us to be more inclusive and reach a greater number of our stockholders. We have stockholders attending via the web portal and the 800 number that we have provided. We will conduct the formal business portion of our meeting and report the preliminary results of our voting. We will then adjourn the formal business of the special meeting and hold a question and answer session.
It is now 9:00 Eastern Time on October 24, 2023, and this meeting is officially called to order. I would also like to introduce our corporate officers who are with us this morning -- Stephen Tulipano, our Chief Financial Officer, and Jonathan Allan, our General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. I will serve as Chair of this meeting.
