Welcome to this presentation of Mandarin Oriental's Results for 2018. I am James Riley, the Group's Chief Executive, and I'm joined by Craig Beattie, our Chief Financial Officer.
2018 was a busy year. The group delivered a stronger financial performance and made significant strides in a number of areas. Let me highlight a few.
Several of the group's owned properties performed well and this helped to deliver a 19% increase in underlying profit. The fire in the London hotel in June 2018 was a blow to morale, coming just as an extensive renovation was due to be completed, but our response was swift and the hotel will fully reopen this
