Here’s the third quarter update for three companies listed among the S&P500’s "biggest losers," including Pioneer Natural Resources Company (PXD, Financial), Scripps Networks Interactive Inc. (SNI, Financial) and Tenet Healthcare Corp. (THC, Financial). Numerous billionaires hold these stocks and there is active insider trading for all three.

Pioneer Natural Resources Company (PXD)

Current Share Price: $189.83

Up 85% over 12 months, Pioneer Natural Resources Company has a market cap of $26.32 billion; its shares trade with a P/E ratio of 47.10. The dividend yield is 0.04%.

Formed in 1997, Pioneer Natural Resources Company is an independent oil and gas exploration and production company with operations in the United States, located mainly in Texas, Kansas, Colorado and Alaska.

Company Earnings: The company reported financial results for the third quarter of 2013 with a net income of $91 million, and earnings of $0.65 per diluted share.

Last month the company announced that it would sell its subsidiary, Pioneer Natural Resources Alaska Inc. to Caelus Energy Alaska LLC for $550 million. The deal is expected to be completed by the end of this year.

Incorporated in 1975, Tenet Healthcare Corporation is an investor-owned health care services company whose subsidiaries and affiliates operate acute care hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, diagnostic imaging centers and related health care facilities. Its core business is focused on providing acute care treatment, including inpatient care, intensive care, cardiac care, radiology services and emergency medical treatment.

Company Earnings: The company reported financial results for the third quarter of 2013 with a net operating revenue of $2.04 billion, up 8.4% from the same quarter last year with revenue of $$2.22 billion. Income from continuing operations was $46 million, up from $35 million in the same quarter of 2012. Earnings per diluted share were $0.45 for the reporting quarter, compared to $0.33 for the third quarter a year ago.

Company Earnings: The company reported financial results for the second quarter of 2013 with revenue of $665 million, up from $600 million in the same quarter of 2012. Net income was reported at $159 million, up from $142 million in the same quarter of 2012. Earnings per diluted share for the reporting quarter were $1.08, up from $0.93 in the second quarter a year ago.
