Expeditors International of Washington, one of the leading global freight forwarding firms, rose after its first quarter EPS (earnings per share) increased 70%, meaningfully above Wall
Street’s expectations. The high incremental profitability of its business model was apparent, as its 28% revenue growth resulted in a 700 basis point increase in its operating margin. Of particular note was Expeditors’ business in Asia – that region grew its
