Foxconn is set to increase its server production capacity to meet unexpected strong demand for Nvidia's cutting-edge AI chips. Company Chairman Liu Young-way highlighted the intense market interest in the next-gen Blackwell chips, aligning with Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang's recent statements.
The company is establishing the largest global server assembly plant utilizing Nvidia's advanced Grace Blackwell chips in Mexico. For the first time, Liu disclosed that Foxconn plans to reach a production capacity of 20,000 GB200 NVL 72 servers by 2025.
Despite some beliefs that the demand for computing power might soon plateau, Liu noted that it continues to grow, surpassing expectations.
