Apple is set to unveil the next-generation iPad Mini 7 in November 2024, marking the first update to the product line since the iPad Mini 6 launched in September 2021. The new model will feature an improved display designed to address the "jelly effect" issue experienced in the previous version. This effect caused visual inconsistencies during screen scrolling, resulting in noticeable screen wobbling.
Despite resolving the jelly effect, the iPad Mini 7 will retain a 60Hz LCD screen and will not feature a high refresh rate or OLED technology. In terms of performance, the device is expected to be powered by a more advanced processor than the current A15 Bionic chip, potentially the A17 Pro or A18 chip, offering significant performance enhancements.
Additionally, the iPad Mini 7 might introduce new color options, giving users more personalization choices. Currently, the iPad Mini is available in purple, starlight, pink, and space gray.
