European stock markets ended with significant declines as all three major indices saw losses. Germany's DAX Index fell by 0.26% to close at 19,480.91 points, reflecting investor caution amid economic uncertainties.

France's CAC 40 Index experienced a sharper drop of 0.65%, closing at 7,507.85 points. The decline is attributed to sector-specific pressures and broader market sentiment affecting investor confidence.

The UK's FTSE 100 Index recorded the largest decline among the three, down 0.8% to finish at 8,219.61 points. Various factors, including economic outlook concerns and global market trends, contributed to the downward movement.
