Apple (AAPL, Financial) is reportedly advancing its smart home technology by planning to release a new wall-mounted display as early as March next year. This device, codenamed J490, aims to control household appliances, handle video conferencing, and use artificial intelligence to navigate applications.
The new product will focus on the Apple Intelligence platform, offering control over home devices, chatting with Siri, and intercom conversations through Apple’s FaceTime software. It will also be equipped with Apple applications for web browsing, news updates, and music playback. Users will have access to their notes and calendar information, and the device can transform into a photo slideshow display.
