Amazon Timestream for InfluxDB Now Available in China's AWS Beijing Region

Amazon Web Services (AWS) in China, operated by Halo New Network, has launched Amazon Timestream for InfluxDB in its Beijing region. This service enables application developers and DevOps teams to easily run fully managed InfluxDB databases for real-time time series applications on AWS, using open-source APIs.

Timestream for InfluxDB incorporates the full feature set of the open-source InfluxDB version 2.7. It also offers enhanced deployment options, including high availability with multiple availability zones, and increased durability. For high availability, the service allows automatic creation of primary database instances and synchronizes data replication across other availability zones. In case of failure detection, the service seamlessly switches to a backup instance without manual intervention.
