NVIDIA (NVDA, Financial) is gearing up to enter the humanoid robot market with its new Jetson Thor computer, set for release in 2025. Positioned as a technology supplier, NVIDIA is not directly involved in robot manufacturing but offers its technology platform to developers, similar to how Google provides the Android platform to smartphone makers.

The Jetson Thor is part of NVIDIA's Jetson compact computer platform, which is specifically designed for AI applications. This particular model will focus on enhancing robotic technology, providing advanced computational capabilities for humanoid robots.
